Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo scooped the Manager of the Month accolade.

The Portuguese won the award for the second time in three months, after guiding Forest to second place in the Premier League following a run of six straight victories.

Nuno was named the Premier League's Manager of the Month for the sixth time in his managerial career, matching Bobby Robson and Sam Allardyce, with only nine managers now triumphant on more occasions.
