Watch movements are often labeled with one or two letters followed by the Rolex movement number that they're a clone of. For example, the VS3235 is a clone of the Rolex 3235 movement. The prefix letters are .
Don't know if bad rep is the right description but certainly not Rated I have a PRS 516, carbon fibre dial, PVD'd bezel, nice bracelet with a Valjoux 7750 movement in it. It's a good looking watch and certainly well made. It wasn't cheap either and still isnt if .
In fact, I'd hazard a guess that as many 7750's develop faults as the 3313, but we just don't get to hear about them. This doesn't mean that the 7750 is a bad movement, just normal, and subject to the same manufacturing faults/errors/mistakes as the Omega. 13th March 2008, 14:52 #11.

I know that the extreme sports / special forces types on here (which seems to be half of the forum whenever water resistance is brought up) consider them old fashioned and fragile, but for normal people they're fine. 24th February 2011, 20:44 #25.
